     John Cauvin (CEO-LUWI) is President and CEO of Windmill Inn of America, Inc. (“Windmill”) an efficiently run, dynamic hotel chain. All of their properties are located in the Western Region of the United States in high growth, desirable markets.
     Windmill has been in operation since 1984, when the first two properties, The Windmill Inn of Medford and The Windmill Inn of Roseburg (Oregon) were purchased. Since that time the company has expanded prudently and sensibly with the focus on long term growth potential and in constructing well designed and well built facilities.
     The results of this approach have created a value that is real and solid while at the same time enhancing Windmill’s reputation for quality, well operated lodging properties. With its inventory consisting of 52% new development and 48% renovated properties, Windmill has experience that is rare in the hospitality management market.

1984 - Windmill Inn of Roseburg
128 rooms-This property is located off Interstate 5 at Exit 125 in Roseburg, Oregon. Excellent transient traffic due to its location between Medford and Portland. Separate leased restaurant.

1984 - Windmill Inn of Medford
123 rooms-This property is located off Interstate 5 at Exit 30 in Medford, Oregon. Near regional mall and largest airport in Southern Oregon. Medford offers a wide variety of local activities and business.

1986 - Windmill Inn of Ashland
158 rooms-With the acquisition of Ashland Hills Inn, Windmill strengthened their presence along the Interstate 5 corridor. Offering 12,000 SF of meeting and convention space it is Southern Oregon’s largest meeting space provider.

1987 - Windmill Suites in Surprise

1995 - Windmill Inn/Suites of Ashland
addition of 72 suites-a demand was identified, and answered when Windmill built its new wing of 72 TRUE two-room suites. This wing provides additional saleable inventory for high demand times.
