mudam, luxembourg

A few pics from my trip to Luxembourg. I walked up all the way to the financial district of the city to go to Modern Art Musem, MUDAM. And what a beautiful walk! A zig-zagging, winding road up the hill. Barely 5 minutes walk out of the old town city centre and it feels like you are in the woods. The MUDAM building in itself is a piece of art. The ultra modern building is surrounded by the remains of an old town fort. I spent a lot of time in the wonderful gift shop and the museum cafeteria is designed by none other than the Bouroullec brothers. I took 650 photos in the 4 days that I was in Luxembourg, so just bare with me. My visit to MUDAM...

Guggenheim, Bilbao

For my 30th (still hasn't sunk in) birthday weekend, my husband and I went to the gorgeous San Sebastian in Northern Spain, Basque country. We flew from London to Bilbao, so we had the chance to spend the Sunday at the iconic Guggenheim museum before heading back. The sky was bright and blue all day. Very different to the last couple of months in grey London. Loved every minute. A few snaps taken with my new Canon EOS450D digital SLR...

Mengsel prints now available at The Red Door Gallery, Edinburgh

When my sister-in-law Liani returned after a weekend in Edinburgh, she told me about this amazing space that she stumbled upon, The Red Door Gallery and that Mengsel's prints will be a perfect fit. Well, turns out that Sarah Kelk is just as nice and friendly as stated on The Red Door gallery blog. So, I'm very pleased to announce that my limited edition silkscreen prints will be on sale at the gallery and online shop. How exciting!
